We offer the best in private tuition in literacy, numeracy and 11+ preparation for children aged 6 to 16. We assist those who need extra help at school as well as those who are already excelling. Jan McCartney, the centre owner, has 30 years teaching experience in Lancaster, Morecambe and Preston.

We treat children as individuals by assessing and talking to children and parents, then providing a tailored individual learning plan to assist them to achieve their personal goals. We use written exercises, bespoke computer programs and practical activities to provide variety and interest for the students.

Our centre has helped hundreds of children with their reading, spelling, writing, English and maths. They have enjoyed learning, using written and computer programs and have benefited from our tutoring by demonstrating increased confidence as well as improved academic skills.
