Incompetent and unreliable

This man, who is a very experienced plumber, replaced a diverter valve on my CH system. He struggled to remove the old valve and then didn't fit the new one properly which then leaked from both compression fittings. The leak went through my lounge ceiling ! When I contacted him about it he was reluctant to accept responsibility and then bizarrely asked for further payment to do any any further work. He asked for cash payment and has so far refused to provide an invoice for the £180 I paid him. I would not recommend anyone to use this service.
